This is not a good multiplayer game

I buy this game to play with my friend. And tbh my experience is horrible. My friend doesn't know much about mod, but he is the host. That mean I can't access to the community resource but I have to get my own, don't have access to mod, farming resource for my own character in my friend base. Why can't we have a game mode that allow multiplayer to build a community together

+1 Fully Agreed, the team was wating to make state of decay 3 full MMO but issues are delaying state of decay 3, sure multiplayer in this game its not the best

game is co-op, not multiplayer. there IS a difference :P

One is a subset of the other, so it's both.

I think it's a shame that the cooperative play is restricted to the action gameplay with only the host getting to play base management, but it is what it is.

It frees them from having to balance things around 'true' multiplayer which is a good thing.

game was never meant to be multiplayer... to begin with, the co-op was 110% option from the start, they chose to put it in so players can enjoy that optional feature.

The coop feature is obviously not on the same quality level as it is at l4d or borderlands. But it's fully playable in coop with just 1 important limit. You need to manage you own minmal base and survivors as client. That's the only important downside. Everyting is is easy work with enough communication between host and client.

jea, coop would be quite easy. let the coop player play a survivor from your group. would be more fun to have such a brainless npc with you
