Everyone remember when the new Forever community update happened... yeah... it broke all my communities... its kinda like that... I dumped my old community and started a new one... no more problems.
an expensive fix in terms of gear loss
but hey... i like startin over... keeps the flavor
New community just had a serious crash while searching a container... probably discovered a winter beanie.
Crash was so bad... couldnt get to task manager. Had to REBOOT.
I guess I should put the game down until the update is rolled back... or this "season" times out. Maybe when the winter gear goes away this will fix itself.
was that the gambler hat. i found that one and had no issue. Im curious if its an item specific thing
My hunch is this:
1. I (prior to the update) collected many of the winter outfit items (beanies and sweaters)
2. The new update forces some duplication issues (item number problem maybe?)
3. When I get into an area where one of the conflicted update items can be found...
I glitch out and CTD
Whether or not I opened the right container.
So yeah... I had never collected the gambler hat (didn't exist) and that's why I didnt CTD when I found it.
Jist of my hunch... Winter clothing was re-ordered/renumbered in a way that conflicts with pre-update versions
or some such thing
