Why can't my fried use the infirmary in my server?

Had a friend play with me today and they couldn't switch characters or use the infirmary. Is this a bug or is it not possible? If it's not possible then I'm gonna refund.

It's not possible, but instead of throwing your toys out of the pram, why not try thinking? I know it's a lost skill, at least try, HOW-EVER, since I don't want you stroking, tying to figure it out, U can give him what-ever you want. Jus drop it on the floor.. GMS

I did drop what they needed but it said they need a med kit or infirmary but they can't interact with the infirmary and the med kit doesn't heal them. Douchebag.

maby they patched that out. you COULD drop stuff, havent really played co-op, how-ever you can put them in a car boot, and ya pal should be able to take em.

thats a problem everywhere, you can give all the information you want and people will answer your question and then paint you as the ignorant one when you point out you already stated that you tried that.

I got kicked from a forum back in the early 2000s cause I seeked help, stated what was going on and what I have tried. Six people responded telling me to try what I already stated I tried. They finally said I didnt want help I just wanted to cause problems and I got kicked after I told them all off for being brain dead and not reading what was posted in the first place and was telling me to try things Id had already said I have tried.

Its why I try not to seek help from online as most people online are like that.

As far as your question goes, I couldnt answer it. I never played co-op only single player.

in this case he is ignorant: the Load Info already tells them how MP works with Bases.....
it says in big letters that the guests cant use the b menu but need to visit the installations personaly.
not sure what his friends want to do, there is only ONE thing that you cant do as guest, and thats sending someone into the infirmary to heal none lethal plague, but guests still can use the option to heal none leathal plague for one or two samples in the infirmary instantly, as long the host wasnt lazy and only got a lvl 1 infirmary....
if it is nomal wounds than it is just changeing chars and they will recover, no matter if you are the boss of the house or a guest....

Except that's not what happened here. Read the OP and identify where it was stated they dropped items or left them in the boot of a truck. The original post just says they can't use the infirmary nor can they switch characters.

Their next post said

First they contradict and say the game required a med kit OR infirmary, then say the med kit won't work They don't explain if the issue is being infected, being injured, or having their health / stamina reduced due to injuries or exhaustion.

They do go on to call the person a name even though a valid solution was offered and the OP did NOT state they tried that solution.

If your experience was the same, you don't fully explain, you aren't appreciative of responses (even if they missed something) because people took their time to explain, then you cursed out the forum, then you earned your ban back in 2000.

Asking a question is the same as asking a favor. Be polite, be patient, do some research, respond without cursing people out.

What you're describing isn't the issue he is facing. Certain injuries, and the plague can only be treated at the infirmary with the infirmary options. Thanks for letting us know you don't know the game works, and showing us how pretentiously dumb you are.

Sounds like the problem was that your friend does not have a Infirmary 2/3 and 2+ characters in the savegame he picked a survivor to join you with.

It is his Meds, his Plague Samples, that he uses when trying to heal from injuries or plague even if he interacts with your Infirmary.

It is obviously possible to swap characters at any time, and heal up, when being the guest in another guy's game. If he did have an Infirmary 2 and several characters in his community, then this was a bug.

No there is a bug where you cannot interact with any of the buildings inside the base. The host needs to exit out to the main menu and load back in again to fix it. I've encountered it a few times.
