Does a plague heart regain health when loading a game?

I nearly killed a plague heart, but had to flee. And then I had to do something IRL, so I quit after I saw that the game autosaved. When I re-enter the game, will the plague heart have regained its health?

No, plague heart will keep track of how much damage dealt to itself, it won't ever regain health, well, as long as you don't quit before or during autosave. Make sure to only quit after you saw the autosave completed, don't quit before or during the autosave.

seems like curveballs can do shenigans with Plague Hearts, woudend be puzzled when they get full health again after getting changed into a curveball hearth. got one session where a hearth i already killed respawned minutes later as a curveball one (not a black, but a weakend one) . guess that only was another of the tons of buggy hickups patch 34 and curveball delivered....

The plague hearts do two gas clouds as you kill them. if you log out after having it do those, the plague heart will then try to do those again.

but their health is tracked even in a reboot. i had a character die, rage quit, cursed UL for that BS zombie grab, logged back in a day later and one shotted the PH with another character
