Microsoft log in 'help us beat the robots' not working... so the entire game is locked :)

So when first launching the game, you need to log into your Microsoft account. This works fine until you need to 'solve the puzzle' to prove your not a robot. Only... there is no stupid puzzle. It's like it won't load properly. Once again, unbelievable top-notch work, Microsoft.
Anyone got any ideas on what to do if this happens? I would upload a screenshot but, of course, Steam doesn't let you do that :D

I had the same, and tried a different way. Log into xbox outside the game via your internet browser, and then start the game. Choose your xbox account and it should you log in without this broken puzzle.
