Question about Infirmary passive healing/cure
Do this building passively cure blood plague of survivor who I am not controlling?
If I have 3 survivors with blood plague, will all 3 of them get passive heal/cure even if my Infirmary is level 1 (1 bed) ?

I notice I can let survivor lie on medical bed when recovering from plague, do I have to manually use this method to cure the blood plague?
Errmm...... basically, want to know fully how Infirmary work passively

You have to set them blood plague victims in infirmary and cure blood plague. It only passively heal minor lost health and slowly cure injury with (upgrade module to do more)

Crafting/buying blood plague cure is fastest without needed set someone down immobilized in infirmary. IIRC If blood plague not fully developed (100%) it can slowly passive cure (with corresponding upgrade module) without need to set someone down in bed.

So number of bed will not affect how much survivors can affected by the "passive injury recovery" ?
Number of bed is only needed for the blood plague cure if the infection hit 100% ?

This is false. The Infirmary 2 and 3 and the Field Hospital (or possibly just time/rest) also passively remove partial BP infection. There are two Infirmary facility mods that increase the rate of recovery; Cleaning Station and Sanitizing Machine (w/power). I have put a survivor in the infirmary like once or twice since 2018, and still have had all survivors remove infection over time passively.

Putting infected survivors in the Infirmary is a myth because of bad wording from UL; this is only useful if you get full Blood Plague (with a timer) and don't have the Cure yet. Then putting them in the infirmary beds will freeze the timer. That is the only function the Infirmary beds have - I don't even think that it speeds up infection recovery.

Edit: yeah I now saw that you mentioned this towards the end of your post. Apologies.

and as an add on, you gain influence if you use the (level 2+) 'cure infection' option, which has a minimal plague sample cost. Less if you have a pathologist.

As per the beds, I mostly use them anyways because the survivor will put out a quip when they're done healing.

Ah alright, now I confirmed.
When the infection build up but no yet get plague, this can passively recover by Infirmary.
Once the plague start, infirmary bed can slow down the death.

Personally I never see my survivors get rid of partial BP infection without me putting them in the infirmary and I do use those facility mods.

I've had cases where someone stayed at 99% infected for an entire hour before I decided to just put them in the bed.

Wiki doesn't mention at all that they can recover outside the beds:
https://state-of-decay-2.fandom.com/wiki/Blood_Plague#:~:text=A%20player-controlled%20survivor%20can,infirmary%20to%20recover%20over%20time.

the mods do mention inactive survivor recovery though, but this can mean just the ones in the beds:
https://state-of-decay-2.fandom.com/wiki/Facility_Mods#Medical_Mods

Same can be seen if you play multiplayer, all your survivor injuries disappear but the plague meter never goes down.

As the ''Passive Recovery'' is purely your red hp bar.
Enhanced Passive Recovery also heals injuries from tier 2 and 3.

Partial blood plague does go away without infirmary use, but significantly slower than if you put them in a bed. When I first started the game I mistakenly believed putting some one in bed costs meds per day, so I never did it, and very minor partial infections went away on their own.

If you have a half or near full infected survivor, it would probably take several days to clear up without using the infirmary bed.

Even when my community is just 3 or 4 survivors still, the two-three others are still mostly infection-free when it's their turn again. An hour is 2/3 of a day/night cycle, and unless I manage to run into a Bloater or were almost getting Blood Plague, I generally swap when they get tired (and they usually have some injuries and some infection as well) - and that's roughly a day I think.

So the recovery is slow, yes, but still quick enough that you get fresh characters to swap to in roughly 2 days. When you have 5+ characters, it will never be a problem that you didn't put them into the infirmary bed.
