Does anyone have a fix for the flickering vehicles bug?

Fixing or upgrading the vehicles doesn't fix the flickering, neither does restarting the game.

For me once you fix them they stop flickering.

Which one and on what map?

It was the military truck and on Trumbull Valley.

For me it took 4 toolboxes and moving it to a new location.

I've got a 2080 though i remember having this issue on XB1 as well back on release week.

Ended up just ditching it for the Trekker instead.

if you repair the and reboot the game itll be fixed for a while. They know about it but the bug stems from something outside the game code and more to do with how the truck (and the cargo van sometimes) are loaded in. I believee the Devs said they werent 100% sure of the cause.

Ill be surprised if they ever actually fix it if it is something in the engines loading mechanic. Engine is pretty old at this point UE 4.13

for me it happens most times only one the big Pickup trucks/Militaery version (not the small Norma) when they are Damaged and at least smoking or a Door is missing (seems the Missing door is an Important Part of the Flicker starting) . its very Rare to happen on a a upgraded Van, but sometimes i see it at Ambulance Cars.

We still have the glitching trucks and vans. Usually have to keep fixing with big repair kits. After all these years they still will not fix it. I drove one without most of the body appearing before. Ghost van.

It's not going to be fixed. Devs have never even acknowledged it and now updates are done.

Several years later and they just abandoned it with these glitchy --s vehicles. Pretty pitiful. We are on the Trumball Map now and there are about 15-20 blood mobiles all broke and glitched out blinking in and out of existence. Good job guys. Fixed a bunch of stuff that no one even cares about.

Yeah they looked into it and found that it wasnt repeatable in the "dev build enviroment" seemingly an engine issue.

I suspect its similar to Garruss face texture in mass effect 1 lol
