Forced to log in to the MS acc every single time I start game

And I have never, ever touched the MP portion of this game. This is such a hassle, I even downloaded the MS authenticator app, which removed the password prompt, but I still have to fill out my e-mail address every time I start the game.

I tried logging on the same account in the Xbox Console Companion app, thinking that might fix it, but it did not. One thing to note is that I use a local account on my Windows - but that has always been the case ever since I bought the game and this is the first time I've had to log in so often.

Possible to fix this somehow?

log into the xbox or windows store app and select the keep me logged in option might do it. I am always logged in and I never have to enter the creds every time I start the game at least.

Hmmm, I downloaded the Xbox app (instead of the Xbox Console Companion), logged in and linked my Steam account to the app. Closed the Xbox app (completely) and started up SoD 2 again. This time it went through without the sign-in.

Seems that did indeed do something. Thanks
