Cheaters in Daybreak?

Just Played a Round Daybreak
and i got into a Lobby where i went from 5000 Prestige up to 45.000
Unlocked Everything, Host had the Hordebreaker i think and was shooting Explosive Bullets ( Literally Almost Grenades )

Wave was at 1 and i immediatly knew something was wrong because i unlocked all the Reach X amount of waves upon entering.
Left right away but now i have everything unlocked, Can i get a Ban for getting into a Lobby with said Guy?

Because of the monotony of Daybreak certain people are using cheats to gain obscene amounts of prestige and/or gain overpowered weapons to wipe out the waves quickly.

There's some mods on NexusMods which make the walls indestructible for example.

I haven't heard of any incidents of people being banned in SoD2 - this isn't CS:GO (Valve Anti Cheat) or ArmA 3 (Battle-eye) or some other competitive shooter.

The only bans I've heard of are for player griefing and general abuse.

It's really up to you whether you want to cheat through Daybreak to unlock the weapons, red talon operators, blueprints, etc.

Personally I just played it solo and quit at wave 3 until I unlocked the Auto Shotgun and Rocket Pods. At that point soloing all 7 waves becomes feasible. (still not easy though)

The whole game mode would be nicer if they'd beef up the two AI grunts with better guns, add some passive prestige income for beating wave 7 the first time and maybe add a few different maps or something.

It's Wave 5 which pisses everyone off - the large number of armoured zombies is hard to stop - there's only so many you can execute at once when playing solo.

On Wave 6+ their helmets become weaker for some unexplained reason? More jugs but those go down with rocket pods & mines.

mhm.. i was just wondering because i've played a few rounds yesterday ( bought it on Friday )
accumulated around 5000 Prestige ( atleast got the Steam Achievement for that )
And today i thought, to play some more, Very First Round i then got that Lobby and got everything unlocked, From Explosive Cleo Sniper to Pyro Minefield

You won't get banned for this. Same thing happened to me about half a year ago or more, where in an instant everything was unlocked and I was maxed out on Prestige and all unlocks.

From what I've read, the only possible way to get banned would be to join coop and specifically start griefing other people's games using mods and cheats, which would get you reported and probably banned.

you can call yourself lucky if you dont get at least one mental degenerate that kills the joy of this modus by using cheatengines in a session. problem is that you not even need to be the one that opened the session (P1) to use the complete palette of cheats. so openeing a game yourself dont helps, only thing you can do is kicking them as soon you see something gets fishy.

undead labs aint going to ban you for it, at least not for now. some times its hard to get people to join plus it gets hella tedious and they are busy with SOD3 which I hope it releases this year,
