They either added infinite storage or made outposts better by adding 8 beds. I suppose in a way a house should be able to house many people it would have been nice if the mod was a bit more balanced by letting you upgrade that base the way you regularly upgraded outposts.
But the only mods I use now are a clock and flashlight mod. I like to know what time it is and I like playing with the gamma seriously low so it can look scary but the default flashlight is too weak.
You're gonna wanna download heilos mod manager also. Makes things more simple.
i would only recomend mods to increase challenge, too much op crap out there.
Special_Duty_Resource_and_Prestige_Runs_P because i do not like Daybreak and this mod makes it possible to earn daybreak points in campaign.
if you start to hate mission timers: Brian's No Mission Timers_P
or of you want a clock: NerusSmolClock_P
those mods do not affect gameplay much
i also installed a CarTrunkMod so i do not need to drive to my base again and again - 9 slots is way to less ... 2 types of ammo - 2 slots occupied - makes not much sense 2me
aaaand i startet to like the WideFOV mod (it's not 4 everyone but worth a test)
look around @ nexusmods.com
p.s. If you dare to edit your survivors with the CommunityEditor and make a mistake with the voice actors, you won't be able to avoid the HadesModMenu, because that's the only way to skip/complete leader/boon quests - so hands off ;)
you just make lethal a joke, and i guess you will tell anyone how easy lethal is and they only need to getgud when they have problems there?
When I was searching for QoL mods that was one of the mods I thought to look up. It turns out the first SoD had this mechanic. I really wish they would have kept it and there is no mod that brings that mechanic back.
try things before you knock them, you have no idea what your talking about otherwise

I was watching a youtuber the other day and they had ski masks on I figured they might be using mods.
Would love some recommended mods also.
Found another that allows you to scrap cars for parts but it dont seem to be working no more.
1. Outpost Overhaul. Lots of new features in outposts. Not always balanced, but making the game more fun.
2. Follower Enlist. Why have 12 survivors in a base when you can only take 1 as a follower? Now you can take as many followers as you like.
3. Enclave editor. It is interesting in that it has the ability to move enclaves. You can move all allied enclaves to neighboring houses and no longer chase around the map fulfilling their requests.
4. 10 Facility Mod AddOn. You no longer need to select an upgrade for facility. Use them all.
5. Call For Community Skills. Useful for small communities. Allows you to temporarily get the desired skill for the community through the command center.
6. FH SecretGarage. Repair and refuel your cars on parking lots.
7. Special Duty. Send your free survivors to resource raids.
8. No Leader Requirement. Remove leader requirement for buildings. You can now build all possible facilites, regardless of your leader.
9. BedBed - doubles bed in all facilites and outposts (people sleep in shifts). More beds - bigger community.
10. Brian's No Mission Timers - remove idiotic mission timers. It's State of Decay 2, not Forza Horizon.
11. No Eye Glow. Remove stupid eye glow. Zombies are not aliens.
12. The Sleep Mod. Sleep at night, explore the map during the day.
13. Stay Safe Mod. Cleared locations remain safe much longer.
14. Full House. Useful for big communites. All survivors are present at the base at the same time (in the original, many of them spawn on request).
15. Vehicle capacity (any version). Up to 100 slots in vehicle trunk. You no longer have to choose what to put in the trunk - a bandage or pills.
There are also many interesting building mods that add new buildings, or allow you to build facilites from Heartland in the regular game.
And, of course, main thing - Community Editor. Allows you to do almost everything.
Resurrect the dead, remove unnecessary skills, edit inventory and items, add survivors to the community (more than 12, my personal record is almost 40 survivors in one community), and so on.
Nights are Darker
Advanced Suppressors n brakes (more for npc as I prefer crossbows)
Better Enclaves (more members and won't disband)
Bright Lights
Car Cargo Space 30
Always Golf Swing
