Honorable mention of course goes to Road Racer. Small car with only 3 storage (both upgraded and not). However, the car handles very well and the speed is just a dream for map such as Drucker County.
The miragra nt, love that car. It's fast and you get to drive in style.
Police cruiser is nice on speed and looks for group missions.
Loot runs: Wichita ES (Fast, handles well, nice trunk space)
Scouting: Survey Car
Mission runs: Mega Max (fast, handles well... although a bit drifty, biggest gas tank in the game)
Offroader: Burninator (fast, tall, flamethrowers on the doors get rid of zeds)
Sherrif: Police Cars and Ranger 4WDs.
Trader: Vans.
Builder: Utility trucks.
Warlord: Military trucks.
But the Witchita is just too easy to get and has a nice neutral handling.
No one gets to drive my action heroes muscle car but him. He also got it through a mission so I keep it for him. That was fun little story mission.
best starting - utility truck
best offroad- vegabond
best luggage hauler- B. trekker
best A to B - B.sport
best useless- Royal
best jug killer- Migara (a swipe during reverse can sometime kill in 2 hits!)
im not a fan of upgrading cars, but if i have to pick it will be impaler.
If I don't have my mobile operations guy yet...then I go with a Viking. It is the only thing that I won't have to be dumping fuel into every few minutes. Though its speed, handling, and health are not that good.
Favorite looking car is probably the impaler...but the cow catcher does nothing to actually protect the car and gets stuck on little bumps so easily. They just gave the car more health when really the impaler and the big boss...and to some extent the utilitiy truck...should be able to run down zeds all day and be fine. Instead they just get made into bad vehicles because they get stuck everywhere. That utility truck I will typically blow up if I see it so I don't try to use the stupid thing. It is just a normal pickup as far as health goes, but gets stuck far easier than the other two. At most I will drive it back to base and use it for storage or to block holes in the base fence. I would not be sad to see that garbage thing patched out of the game.
Honorable mention to the Mad Norma...like the look, health, handling, and fuel economy...but I dislike how survivors always hop in the back even if there is only one with me.
