? So you want them to add armor to the game so you can engage hostile human during early game on lethal?
Its not a problem. I just don't think its a worthwhile feature. There are many things the devs can add, but they all take time and resources. Some updates like the heart territory update changes how you play the game. It makes the game more challenging and complex. You can no longer cheese outpost and safe zones like before. Furthermore, you also have to do some planning on deciding which plague heart to clear next to allow for safer looting or claiming outpost/base. These type of updates affect all players and are more meaningful.
Now, they could make the armor feature interesting, but at the very least your version sounds pretty meh. It feels like a niche feature not a feature that can be enjoyed by every player.
I think Moist has explained it fairly well in their first post, why armor would be useless. You die from blood plague most of the time on any difficulty. It would be cool as a costume, but as an actually game item? Not really, as anything that slows you down will get you killed, so no one would be using it anyway.
If you are facing issues with hostile humans, then all you need to do is get a suppressor and any firearm (5.56 or 7.62 ammo type ones are best, but I did it even with pistols), drive up to the enclave just close enough to see the red mark and stand behind your vehicle waiting for one of them to get in the open. Shoot the head twice and they will fall down. Do this a few times and they will just die.
Casuals? XD what is this Call of Duty or something? lmao
? I don't even play COD. Its not a COD only term or something.
Fair enough, I just rarely ever see that word in a PVE setting is all.
