very high gpu usage
earlier game works on 1080 with normal temps and gpu usage but on 3080 its a horror

try to lock fps in you nvidia panel for this game, so it doesnt skyrocket.
my old 1050 laptop card can run it stable at 50-60 fps mid setting but the gpu temps were constantly at 80-85 degrees, so i locked it at 30fps from nvidia panel and now the temps dont rise above 70 degrees.
same i have a 3080 Ti and im always at 95%-100% usage any fixes or work arounds?

My old computer from 2010 (processor and motherboard) with a Geforce GTX 970 graphics card ran this game just fine.

after putting the Graphics Setting on High it still does high gpu usage but my GPU is no longer cooking alive

high GPU usage is expected and doing what you paid for it to do. The 3080 is rated to work at temps upto 90C but if this game is pushing those numbers you have an airflow problem
Use vsync or cap your fps to 60.
3080s run hot, and maybe your cooling solution sucks.

are you idiot...... Its not about this.

i was just joking my temps never reach over 80C
The GPU should be reaching 100% usage BUT the RAM and CPU should NOT be nearing 100% usage at all and the CPU should be staying under 70% for maximum performance.

Fun fact: GPU's are meant to run at 100% usage.

Temps vary because the cooling solutions vary and some are not as good as the others, especially those GPU's that are called, "Blower" "Blower Edition" as those heatsinks are very small and do a terrible job at heat dissipation and they lack proper fuses on the actual board (generally, these are cheapo boards, or discount GPU boards). :badluck:

CPU shouldn't be much over 40 and GPU below 70 no matter the % usage. =)

Oh really? Okay sometimes I got stutters but after changing the graphics to High *it was on Ultra before* i don't get thosr stutters no more.. I never had a problem with temps just usage but thats good to know

that really depends on ambient temp and the cooling solution

if you are getting stutters on Ultra on this game with a 3080 you either have a CPU bottleneck or a bus bottleneck

no that wouldn't make sense as i'm able to run Spider Man Remastered, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Dying Light 2 on Max Graphic Setting with no issues at all.
Check the RAM usage, Captain.
