BEST WEAPONS FOR EACH CLASS OF WEAPONS ?

so i did some research on the top 10 list of weapons on the web and i find that some in the list were meh or did not really click with me. i found some weapons in the game like the Duval Outrider which i really like for a 5.56 sniper rifle with great durability its the best hunting rifle for me but was never on the list. some handguns that made their top 10 includes the G18 which i find was a waste of ammo despite having a large clip size.

id like to know from you guys have you found any underrated weapons in the game ?
i like Duval Outrider and that M4A1 rifle with 100 to 150 bullets per magazine ?

im also in the search for the best sniper rifle out there for taking out hordes.
of course it has to come with average weight, clip size, and cheap ammo.
and most importantly ... range. the .22 preppers rifle was great but low power and low range.

The Duvall Outrider, isn't that lever-action or bolt-action? If so, it's too slow and has a too small magazine to compete with the likes of Prepper's AK47 and Eternal Guard's Infinite Rage.

The Ammo trader sells the Custom AK47, Sighted Scar-H and SOCOM II, all of which are better than the Outrider in every way, except possibly needing repairs if I'm not mistaken about the Outrider.

The G18 Custom Auto is fantastic for assaulting Plague Hearts with an Advanced Brake. It's also a good weapon for your NPC survivors, especially if they have Gunslinger. It is not a very good main weapon because it doesn't have select fire (which is what makes it great for the AI).

So, your question depends entirely on what you want. Most people want fire rate, large magazine, optics and a suppressor for their player character main gun, so that's why most lists of "best guns" will sort them by those traits. You seem to want lever-action or bolt-action "sniper rifles", of which the Trumbull Gatekeeper is probably among the best due to the rapid cycling.

RTX Piraha (I think I typed Pirana in another post XP) for best assault sidearm

Prepper's .22 Rifle (or any .22 rifle imo) fun to use and high accuracy and fire rate, weak sause durability though

Kodiak, Golden Honcho (Trifecta), Danger Dog PPSh-41 (WW2), Simple S2K (Winter) for primaries

Police Auction Golden Vulture, Mare's Leg (Open Range), SPK5 Civilian/Custom for sidearms

Danforth's Slugger, L-6 Steel Mace, Barbed Wire Bat (Fearsome Footage), Gladius, Monogear Axe, Parang *early game only*, Sweet Skull Sword for melees

i like it ! the sound of the lever action before every shot. its not fast but its ok.

Yeah I'm sure I got several standard .22 version but I first time used it when I got a Prepper's .22 Rifle and required to use it to kill a horde. Don't think there's any stats diff from standard ver (never compared them) but its really good imo in terms of rifle and achieves the same thing as any other bolt-action/lever-action rifles that use larger calibers, and even par with .50 cal (obviously not on juggernaut) in head shot.

RTX Piraha can be obtained from Red Talon Trader easiest, then it'll be Rare Trader (requires you to search 3 places), If you encounter Red Talon Squad mission talk to them before complete mission sometimes they have it available for sale. Hostile Red Talon Operative mission sometimes drop it but I only got it once, most other times are no weapon and twice gas launchers.

Good day friends, World War II weapons are my favourite, russian, german and american weapons, light or heavy, if you know how to use them, they do great work, never mind the support fires. Classic SKS Rifle***
