BEST RED TALON SKILLS ?
so i made this list of my preferred Red Talon Skills and bonuses
( my preferred TRAITS would be anything BUT Dead Zone Runner )
( and this list DOES NOT take into account the bonuses from the Community Skills yet )
( and i skipped other Red Talon Skills like Medic that i think is bad but i could be wrong )

From the list i think im going to consider the following ;

1. Fortifications
- its Craftsmanship and Constructions which to me is essential in any new base
- gives 2 materials per day and that -2 to zombie threat can give us a breathing room
- +3 labor is handy in the beginning
- the negative effect of -10% influence gained is not that bad.

2. Gut Packing seems nice as well although im not sure what that
25% Infection from Attacks mean and if the +150 Infection Resistance negates that.

3. Infrastructure seems nice as well especially when i always use hydroponics instead of outdoor farms.

What do you guys think ? did i skipped some good operatives ?

What about Hacking with +1 Outpost?

wasn't really happy with the hacker talon agent. i just needed his +1 outpost and probably the drone strike but not really. i needed a red talon that is mostly useful and reusable for creating a new community.

Having that extra outpost starting a new community can really help.

Gut Packing is pretty significant in Lethal Zone. 30% reduction in consumed food means 6 less food for a community of 10. I don't even bother with farms anymore since 2 max food outposts is 12 food, which frees up a building slot.

Doesn't gut packing increase infection for the whole community though? That must be terrible on Lethal.

I have a full and only red talon community and so far I have a hacker, infrastructure, combat medicine, mobile operation, foraging, firearms maintenance and working on getting a fortification.

Not claiming its the best but it is what I use at the moment.

the Combat Medicine agent doesn't seem worth it to me.

You're right, a normal medic would probably be better if he/she have a decent hero bonus, I would not have one if I did not want a "only red talon" community.

Check this guide, it helped me a lot choosing good contractors and most importantly it helps not wasting prestige.

Must be? So you don't play on Lethal.

Gut Packing is definitely, one of the best perks for Lethal Zone. where survivors consume 2 food and food outposts are doubled on their output. Getting basically +6 food is the highest resource acquisition of all the skills. It's so good that it allows you to free up a building slot in the base because you don't need a farm anymore.

I don't worry about plague infection since that can be mitigated by not getting hit. People who get hit a lot are the ones that care about the infection increase.

Being how expensive ammo is in Lethal Zone, puts firearm maintenance in bottom tier.

The Driver perk is much better than mobile operation if car usage is your concern.

And I have no idea why you would want Fortification since Craftsmanship/Construction are about the worst perks in the game.

oh i just based it on what i frequently needed on every new community. craftsmanship seems like its one of the community skills you need on every community for crafting bolts etc. light bolts that are recoverable seems like the best ammo for me. im not planning on LETHAL yet.

Craftsmanship is not required to build the Workshop, which is what builds the bolts. Craftsmanship builds the Forge, which is unfortunately, not very useful and pretty much a waste of a precious building slot. As you move towards Lethal you will find morale more of an issue and have to counter this with morale boosts from buildings, like the lounge. I never built a lounge on lower difficulties, but on Lethal it is practically a mandatory building.

Hacker is the Number One RT Skill, it helps from start to end. 7 Outposts in endgame is just a big number (with network sat installed) and hacker brings knowledge computing, a skill useless on a normal Survivor, but needed for Upgrading your HQ, so yep absolutly needed at start of a community....
