Lichenology is perfect for early game to counter the -2 building med cost, and perfect for late game for med production. You can always use meds for healing, buffing, trading and even attacking.
Food is not an issue in Lethal as you probably has 1-2 survivors with food reduction bonus (meal plan or gut packing) and the outposts are providing lots of food.
Utilities is still a good team member if you have water and power as hydroponics cost is very low compared to farm + moral bonus is very nice as well. If you do not use boons then you usually use some more important spec to fill a critical or strategic role in your community.
Foraging is ok but nothing fancy as it is not a deep specialisation. If you allow yourself RT agents then there are much better options even for food. (hacking, gut packing)
i do use BOONS for electricity and water.
does this mean Utilities is preferable ? i could hire a RED TALON with Utilities and plumbing.
what does it mean "hydroponics cost is very low" ?
hydro cost way less to build than getting up a farm 3 and makes the same but req utility
Cheaper means in lethal all building cost a lot, to build a lv 3 farm or garden it cost so much more compared to the cheap hydroponics cost. You can spend your material into better places.
One of the best start for Lethal with boons is Utilities, Lichenology and Chemist I think. You can setup your med production quite fast then buy all what you need for mid and late game.
In Trumbull you can start with medic->pathologist instead of chemist then grab the lab quick and win the game with scent block...
i see. thanks
thank you.
