Ive tried on microsoft support but no outcome

I bought from the store when the game was released but all i get when trying to download the game is Something happened on our end. Try again later.
I played a ton back then but want to play again.

I was to to clear cache, use powershell , troubleshoot the app ect ect...

I also asked in SOD discord and was told to run my windows account in administrator mode , which I did but still get the same error


On the windows store, all dlc has ! with a circle round it and says for each of them "..does not work on this device"

I dunno what to do to play the game again .... ?

This is what i can think of.
Find State of Decay 2 Juggernaut Edition, Install that. DLCs should be installed per automatic.

If you have your old game version installed, uninstall it first.

Hi , I dont have console , only pc..

What are the specs of your PC? Are you running windows 10?

i7 , 7970 , 16 gb ram , ssd W10

I bought the game on the microsoft store back in may 2018 and played a lot and had a ton of fun , but recently a dev on discord said the game has to run on a administrator account , which I setup but still wont install through the store...

They then said to reinstall windows ???
But the store works for other games and apps.. just SOD2 wont..

Im stuck what to do as reisntalling windows seems such a leap just to hope it fixs this ..

have you uninstalled the game? then update ur windows 10 to the latest version 1909? and then update the store? restart pc
then Press the Windows Key
Type 'wsreset' and press Enter
Restart your PC
Access the Windows Store
Search for State of Decay 2
Select the Install option
Wait for installation to complete

I uninstalled yes late in 2018
I asked in w10 windows store forum and the said to do the poweshell , wsreset and update the store and other things too like reset the store cache and disable reenable the store

But, like i said , each time I try to install the game all I get is a popup saying 'Something happened on our end. Try again later.'

Just to clarify this. Are you installing State of Decay 2 or State of Decay 2 Juggernaut Edition?

! with a circle round it means you can not install it through ms store. Dlc are installed per automatic when you have your main game installed.

Thats the symbol and yes, its the juggernaut edition I'm trying to install..

Nothing happens if I hit the preorder install button , but for the JE I get to choose which drive to install on then I hit the install button.
A short time later I get the popup reading as the title of the thread...

Have you tried to install sod2:JE to other hard drive partition?

Ive tried both hard drives with the same outcome...
Its weird that this is happening as Ive played back in 2018

It should be easy install.
1. uninstall any previous sod2 version.
2. install sod2:je.
3. play the game.

Your first install did work, you played the game. You have not done any changes to your os or hardware if i understand it right.
I can not give you more ideas to go after.

have u update ur windows 10 OS whats is ur version????
also check ur settings then look in the apps & features look for state of decay if its still there uninstall it then restart pc.

Hi , I uninstalled the game late in 2018..
My OS is W10 Pro 1909 , build 18363.836

I looked at apps and features and its not on the list..
