So vehicles don't move on with your community, into 'forever mode?'
So I'm clear on this -- we finish up a leader's legacy quest...and then choose to keep playing on a new map, now called 'forever' mode?

Except the 3 Vanditos filled w/ materials didn't transfer from the story mode. Yes, they were in the parking slots, verified on the base screen.

only vehicles that do come with you are those parked at parking space.
But be ware if your new base have only 3 parking space and your old base had 4, one of you car will not come with you

I just finished the Builder Legacy and continued my community just 2 days ago. I changed maps from Providence Ridge to Meagher Valley. Went from a 4 Vehicle Slot base to a 2 Vehicle Slot base and all 4 Vehicles transferred with me. The game will place the extra vehicles near the parking slots. It won't transfer over any vehicles not in a slot though.

So in short...it will transfer however many vehicles you have in the available slots of your current base. Trunk contents included.

I had 3 Vanditos full and parked in slots, verified by the base screen.

Not a single one moved onto the new map, post legacy quests.

This sounds like a bug as they should have if they we in parking bays when switching maps

I believe they have a bug, and reported it. Whether you change maps as part of "Continue Community" at the end of Legacy, or just change maps the normal way, whatever vehicle you are driving will NOT be at your new base and will NOT be anywhere on your new map. ONLY the vehicles parked in parking spaces will transfer.

I've verified this by 1 community moving with "Continue" and two others just switching maps.

Hmm strange. I got all four of mine just now, when moving from Meagher Valley directly into Barricaded Strip Mall. The one I drove ended up on the other side of the road where there is a car spawning point, though.

I've checked each map thoroughly. No car that was being driven was found. I did have 4 cars in parking spots, so that could be the issue. When you say "all 4", you left an open parking spot, I suppose? That may be what is happening, and would imply an old bug is back, only slightly altered.

Yes the Barricaded Strip Mall and the Container Fort both have only 3 parking slots, so since I'm going to all of them twice or so, there is just no point bringing along more than 4 cars.

Think most don't really understand the parking spots, you can actually take a ton of cars with you in those cases ^^

All you need is when you are in the car it says "PARKED"
That can be achieved sometimes by just even beeing close to the parking spot, or just one wheel on it..
Which leeds to the ability to put multiple cars in one parking spot ^^

This has no bearing on the driven vehicle now disappearing when changing maps.

I used to operate like that too. Then with 25 they made it so you could take 5 cars. That appears to have changed, so I'll be back to the 3 car routine.

@Protectron I did a move last night with 3 cars to Providence and decided on Westen Warehouse which has 3 slots. All 3 moved fine. I'm thinking the bug is with more cars than slots, since UL responded to me this morning they are aware of the bug and are working on a fix for it already. So it's really only a partial bug, I guess.
rtwjunkie Sep 7, 2022 @ 9:24am
I had another back n'forth on my bug submission. UL confirmed the bug basically makes the game operate like it did prior to Update 25. Right now you may only move with the number of vehicles equal to the parking slots available on the home site you are moving to. If there are 3 and you move 4, then the one you are driving will disappear.

Started a new community, moved from starter to next map (Providence to trumball), took all 4 parked vehicles, but not the car I was in. Gone from new map.
CommandDork Sep 15, 2022 @ 6:02pm
Just moved to Trumbull from starter map and the car I took to the last meeting / mission didn't carry over, just the one parked back at my base.

Had I known this would happen, I wouldn't have brought my best wheels to the final fight.
