Daybreak, Prestige Points and General Understanding
So I understand that you get Prestige Points from Daybreak a DLC where you fight waves and waves of zombies.

And I understand this can get you a prestige trader in your single player game where you can trade for super good base building stuff and weapons called "Red Talon".

I have a few questions:

1. Do I have to play multiplayer (aka with other players) in this Daybreak DLC?

Not that I am anti multiplayer or social. Just because I am shockingly bad at the action part of this game. How I defeat the game currently, is probably a bit out there for some players, especially vets. At the moment on Cascade Hills map taking out plague hearts I use the sniper cover and a follower (either my own or a random enclave survivor) to distract the zombies when I focus all my attention (and bombs) on the heart itself. This has been known to kill my follower or myself or both. So I feel that I would be a bit of a deadwood player on Daybreak. I don't want others losing due to my incapability.

2. Can you gain these Red Talon things anyother way in the single player game?

3. To get the points do you have to defeat Daybreak in order to get some or can you just play like wave 1 over and over again to gain a little?

Any other help is appreciative.

1. No, you can do Daybreak completely Solo. But if you want to try Daybreak multiplayer, don't worry too much, it's not that competitive. You get points/unlock stuff, even if you don't make it to the end.

2. Sadly no, Daybreak unlock items and prestige points can only be earned through playing the Daybreak mode.

3. You get some points even if you fail after the first wave, or maybe even during the first wave, don't know anymore
But you only get the specific Daybreak item unlocks after you clear Wave 3, Wave 5 and/or Wave 7 (Final Wave).

Here is a Daybreak Solo guide, if you're interested:

It's even easier now, since ammo stack sizes have been increased (especially for the CLEO ammo)

Also an add on question: If I did have other players in Daybreak (I believe it's up to 4, so be 3 and me) will the NPCs still spawn in too?

Thanks again

No, the NPCs only fill out the empty player slots. But I believe you can only have up to 2 NPC partners. So if you play with 2 other players (3 players in total) you won't get any NPC buddies. But if there ar 2 total players you get 1 NPC
