the tyranny of mechanical hardrives
I watch Geoffrey Card (until recently was Design Director for SoD2) on his livestream playthroughs on all the maps, and started noticing something. Whenever he would get his vehicle stuck or find it hard to get through he would make a note of that and let the staff know. That is how the majority originally would show up in an update afterward fixed. I think this has caught on and there is now someone actively checking all these locations of wrecks on all the maps now, because just after last update I found two wrecks on Cascade that have had most of the vehicles in wrecks removed, allowing a driver who knows the roads to sail through. I'm able to drive around now at a pretty good speed on Trumbull as well, even at the obstructions.
The Question: Can debris be cleared in SOD2?
Answer: No
Suggestions/Options:
On a long term map you could call in the Impaler or other cars and park them in front of debris on the road sort of pointing/guiding you around it. Cars always show on the mini map making it a useful marking tool in addition.
Preparing an extra car of items and parking it as a backup in plague areas can be a very worthy investment of your time.

"I can mod games now with my mad skills"
/or/
"yo devs make it so I can clear it"
I kind of do the last part already but sort of a "tag team" whereby my meatwagon is waiting to collect all the stuff to take home OR if I want to go fast the impaler is there to race me to the objective.
But good thought on the directions, I might do that as I always slam into them or something!
I wish there was a game where you go through the map and you can clear areas to either build a wall out of that material and make it "safe" or whatnot. A bit like walking dead with Alexandria settlement. Where they went street by street and eventually took make the whole place (in the comics).
I guess you kind of do this with outposts in this game. But I like the idea whereby you change the map (as in the player) and you can make things with those materials into walls or whatever. Imagine a bunch of cars piled ontop of each other making a wall between a town with a little gap in a middle where only humans can drive through. Maybe a Jugg could smash through the wall of cars though and thus its a constant mechanic to build up your walls and safe areas etc.
