Can't Equip a new backpack bug =(

I played today after the last update, took off a characters backpack to swap for a bigger one and now can't equip it no matter what I try. Tried to replicate on another character and now both of them are utterly useless without backpacks. =(

Negative, I have switched several backpacks today. Make sure survivor at least 1 pocket on the survivor u wish to equip a backpack is empty then transfer a backpack (if as follower or interact in base), then switch to that survivor's inventory view and F to equip.

Or switch to control the survivor directly and F the desired backpack with base storage open on backpack category select the backpack you want

Thanks! Okay I didnt realize I had to press F to equip it. I remember it just slotting in prior but perhaps that was before I swapped instead of first taking the old one off and adding the new one. I assume that happened. But also the Backpack should tell you F to equip like the weapons do.

Yeah the hotkey are at bottom of your HUD when you open inventory. Use F to equip/unequip/swap, use F to add mod to weapon too when you have the mod inside your backpack slot on you and add to available weapon equipped (or in backpack)
