ALSO I MADE IT REALLY CLEAR THAT i dont want to use vehicles on jugs. I appreciate you are all trying to help but what would help even more would be if you could READ WHAT I ACTUALLY WROTE thankyou
Sniper Support it is... otherwise start running circles popping 40 5.56 or 7.62 rounds into his head.. no need for vehicles
there is a reason this one is the hardest of the Z´s if u don't want to use ammo..... start getting comfortable circling and poking it with a melee weapon.... blades are more useful against them btw
Now "Sniper Support" is in your scrollable list of things to use. Myself I usually carry energy drinks and painkillers on me at all times. So when using the mousewheel to scroll through my items I have energy drinks, painkillers and sniper support to choose from. When you face a juggernaut you want to get rid of scroll to sniper support and press "Q" to use it. The sniper support will make short work of the juggernaut.
You can also start a Standard game to learn how to melee a juggernaut. Learn the juggernauts moves in and out so you hopefully don't take any damage while meleeing a juggernaut. I like a survivors with fighting skill swordplay and a fast bladed weapon for this.
Myself I just avoid juggernauts if I can. If there is a mission and there is a juggernaut close I jump into the car and get the juggernauts attention and then drive away with the juggernaut following me. When I have led the juggernaut away a fair bit I just turn around and go back to my mission without fear of the juggernaut joining.
Meanwhile, if they attack you at your home base, you'll have your whole community to back you up. The whole group firing on them will take them down.
Feral's on the other hand, they are nasty, they hit hard, have decent health, and you can't outrun them in anything less than a car. I've had plenty of close calls with death getting caught out by ferals, but almost none with Jugs.
The game should be called "State of Decay 2: Ferals edition" but that probably wouldn't sell as well, haha.
According to your statement I have also experienced tried to ram a jugg with rear of my VANDITO (heavy armored van) 20 times to kill a jugg - the staggering amount of reverse hit is the result of not enough reverse speed & not far away enough from jugg.
The easiest way by reverse ramming is to open up your straight distance and reverse ram at maximum (the reverse gear sound will be consistent then you've hit max reverse speed) speed OR far enough for jugg to trigger dash ram and then you reverse ram into jugg while its charging at you - it does works and can easily stun jugg (not down for execution). The second method here will and can kill jugg reverse ram with 2-7 hits, I have done once with 2 hits magically not sure how but the jugg's body even flew like 200m away when died lol
The other way is climb atop a crate, a fuel tank, car (not really recommend), rooftop or something zombies can't reach you and snipe jugg with 7.76mm or .50 cal (easy 4-5 headshot downed or 6-7 for instant headshot)
For jugg that run into your base obviously you need to arm all your npc survivors with weapons, preferably .50 cal, 40mm grenade launcher (12 capacity one, if you can find and spare), maybe 1 or 2 7.76mm - if you do not have .50 cal or 40mm grenade launcher just equip all npc survivors with 7.76mm they can easily pow wow jugg that intrude your base. Note that npc survivors do not use ammo.
Never, ever use explosives or fire grenades on jugg they deal 1% damage, max - even with C4 or Thermite grenade - and waste them on jugg is real wasting resource
As I said in the first post of your thread, Bouncing Boris is a fireworks-explosive which either heavily damages or kills a Juggernaut.
Edit: but maybe all of that won't unlock until you have beaten the game (finishing a Legacy) once? Seem to remember something like that.
Yeah if you happen to be trapped in a place u were searching and a jugg show up just crotch and walk a bit in the room to trigger jugg search mode (and he will move away) then u can run out.
I never tried explosives honestly I just saw someone said before explosives and fire are useless (including the in game tip on loading screen)
Y to open radio menu, idk if its a timed bonus or not since its marked in green in radio menu, it has bunch of cool ♥♥♥♥♥ in there.
If you won't mind a minor spoiler >>> Bouncing Boris is a fun multi-stage grenade, super easy to take care horde or infestation - especially for bounty "kill x screamers with explosives" it releases 5 rounds of explosives at where it is thrown to dealing constant damage; independence truck sucks it just looks cool; firework spear weapon thingy is ridiculous low ammo and long reload but its fun to use; the shotgun like firework weapon is super fun to use against horde the downside is one ammo at a time reload (faster if your survivor have faster reload perk); can always call in supply drop for a bit of everything traps to explosives and ammo for independence pack weapons - there's also ammo craft mod with every supply drop, you just need one and u can sell additional one for influence
bouncing boris kill jugg?????? I gotta now go amass some bouncing boris and see how effective it is lawd
wait just a moment... sod2 actually have land mines, i think them can would be crafted in armory?
or its armory + some community skill for sure
good luck out there
