Recruiting Legacy Survivors
Maybe I'm missing something; I've only been playing for a couple of days. But I got far enough in my first game and decided I wanted to start another, and saved a couple of my survivors to the legacy pool. I've now started a new game; the legacies were available to start my game with but I decided to wait to bring them in, and this is where I'm confused. According to the Undead patch notes, "We’ve added the ability to recruit survivors from your Legacy Pool into current communities. Check your radio menu! " But so far, I can't. There's nothing in my radio menu about anything but contacting random enclaves. Am I doing something wrong, thinking wrong, or do I have to have certain situations (maybe base vs number of survivors in it) or be past a certain time in the game before I can bring in any legacies? Any help would be appreciated.

1: Press I to go to inventory screen.
2: Look at upper right corner, and click the radio icon.
3: You can recruit your legacy team via the radio command.

Thanks, and. yeah, that's what I thought. But it's not there. Get medical advice, find resources/people, etc. But not that. Not sure what it's supposed to say, but nothing about legacy players or pool.

if everything is ok you need to do what is said above. you ll need 1200 ip.

if still you cant, exit to main menu and check your legacy pool. unless if its empty you can recruit. no panic.

I don't know what's going on. Checked the legacy pool and they are still there, have 1350 ip, checking the radio, nothing. I may have to just start a new game with them if I want to use them. Thanks for the help; at least I know it's supposed to work the way I thought it did.

Okay, figured out why it wasn't working, or at least how to fix it. For some reason having a custom difficulty level made it impossible to both bring in survivors from the pool and to send them there from that game. Guess if you want that you need to bring in all the legacy members you want first and then change the level. So basically at the first base.

That is very odd. I've never seen something like that in my over 300+ hours since Update 30. I've always been able to call in legacy survivors and I've always had custom difficulty settings. Those settings have changed over and over during a community as well as multiple map changes. Maybe a bug?

I know if you have a lot of free time to play this game it would not be such a big deal, but fair warning that you lose your 1,200 influence even if something happens to result in you not choosing a survivor. I thought I was standing somewhere safe when I called in the favor, and when looking through the menu to try to figure out how to view by victory count, I was attacked by something, and tried to get out of the menu, and my game crashed. But the game had saved once taking my 1,200 influence. Thanks a lot, game. I know other people apparently earn influence at the rate of eight billion a minute or something as they complain about having too much, but even on the easiest level I was always struggling to have enough to move to the bigger bases in short order. Definitely not interested in re-earning that much influence.

Don't you get like 2-300 for finishing a mission and 50 or so for killing a Horde? 1200 is literally done in half an hour tops.
