How do I get ammo on lethal?

I don't get how I am supposed to kill the hearts with no ammo - I have 2 outposts, lvl 1 and lvl 2, and none of them produce any ammo. The game tells that I'm supposed to get +3 ammo daily, I'm not using it anywhere, but in fact I don't get any. So I'm feeling stuck after I've killed the first heart. Getting few Molotov's by trade - and that's all.

and with the forever update, I assume it is easier to mass produce things as you could farm for resources in green zone and on your lethal save you call them over every so often filled with it. Plus that with Trade depot, Infirmary+pill press+pharmacology, Armoury + munitions and Surgery+resistence+primary combos - it's not that scary.

Although personal skill comes into play and why I am not on lethal :)

currently 20/30 lethal. still say scentblock and pipebombs are the way to go. no circuitry needed.

run them over? on lethal? your car will blow up before you are halfway through them.

Pretty they meant driving over them in reverse, as long as they get hit with the back of the vehicle your vehicle will be fine.

You can also run to the next heart when you do four hits on the first.
It remembers its health.

People usually bring over their A team from past communities and are loaded with goodies just to hit on lethal mode though... Going without and playing lethal to learn the game is very game wipey. But each to their own.

If you're still bent doing it, you can get some red talon related help. The new members that you recruit from it usually ( if I remember right, just started replaying the game again today) comes preloaded with a nice gun, nice wep, but most importantly 6 or so C4's ! Last I heard, it takes about 4-6 games to get 1k of points and you need around 2kish to recruit a red talon member. You'll need even less if you just call in their trader and buy their S tier goods though. For the bang bang with the buck, I prefer recruiting them though.

You also considered getting a sacrificial member from random escort quest, to hit the place with you? They make for good bait, comes with unlimited ammo, pews zombie and plague heart, and they cover your back.
