Cant use melee weapon/cant change to it from firearm?
Idk if I'm an idiot or if its a bug but ever since I got the first firearm I cant find a way to change to melee or use it.

If you open the inventory the ranged weapon needs to be in its spot, as well as the melee weapon. When you only press LMB you will swing your melee weapon, if you havent equiped it, you will use your knife. If you want to use your gun, you have to press RMB. In this mode LMB will be a shot, different buttons to zoom, changing firemode etc. Afair there is an option to hold or switch for weapon mode.

Melee and firearms are not the same button. You don't switch.
