Question of gun for AI characters

Hi, I have a question about giving AI survivor a gun to use.
- Does gun durability decrease when they shoot? I just know AI characters won't consume bullets in storage when they shoot, but dont know if same thing can be applied to durability.
- If I equip an AI survivor with primary gun and sidearm gun, which one will they use mainly?

- no the durability will not go down on any weapon they use
- whatever one you had them using last, so it you used them and had the sidearm out and switched they would use the side arm

You mean if I select an equipped gun then switch to another character, this character will continue using the selected gun, right?

In giving them guns and not playing them it will be whatever gun they had first
So if they have no guns and you give them a sidearm and then a primary they will use the sidearm

You don't need to give your npc's sidearm, only primary.

If possible give them full auto only ones and they will be spraying the zeds.
