Eventually you will run out of things to do when staying on one map. Nothing more to do except random Enclave missions and stuff, everything looted and explored.
To keep your survivors and all the stuff you have spent many hours building, and still always have something to do, just move to a different map and set up your base again there.
When you move map, you keep your current resources and get refunded some of your influence spent on outposts. You do, however, lose any friendly enclaves you have.
Should I go to a new map with my same team and start over there? What are my other alternatives?
No. You will get a quest again where you can restart legacy trader mission
