Headshots not killing people?
I owned this game on the Windows Store and decided to rebuy it on Steam, but for some reason the headshots never kill for me? It just downs the NPC and I gotta headshot them multiple times to actually kill them.
I'm playing on Dread, is this a bug?

At higher difficulty, they are more resistant and you need high caliber to kill them fast and easly..

The most powerfull you can go... With a .50cal they die with 1 hit.

Yeah, human npcs are basically bullet sponges. The only time I usually can one shot them is with weapons like the Timberwolf.

You should try with a nade launcher.. it is really funny.. since they can't die exactly with 1 nade, they act like a ragdoll flying around and then screaming (death-door). Sending them fly is really a sight!

Thanks for the rec. Guess I'll be building some grenades now.

This game is a bit different than most.

The NPCs are exactly like the player characters. Most games, thats not the case.

You can kill enemies in like 4 shots on lethal. But you have to headshot them while they are on the ground. I killed a hostile NPC yesterday in like two 0.45 rounds yesterday.

I'm playing on Dread and I just killed some NPCs with one headshot from a scoped .44 rifle. It doesn't always happen but it can with a powerful bullet.

Right injurys (the loss of max hitpoints) are what kills the player and the NPCs. not
the curent hitpoints. People really arent used to the enemys having the same rules as the players.

In Lethal Zone, you can snipe them from very far range with SVD (or Special Ops AW) and they don't even know where you are. Or you can bring a dude with .50 cal with you, use yourself as a decoy and watch him destroy hostile in 2-3 hits. Big brain way is throwing zombie baits and bloater gas grenades to hostile house and rolling around. All these ways require scentblocks because 99% zombies always focus on player first whatever happens around. Many feedbacks have sent about this situation but Undead Labs never gives a f*** about it.
