For Boons, the Builder and Sherrif. Builder for the free power and water boon, and Sheriff because of the items dropped in your locker everyday. For me though, Builder boon took all the fun out of it eventually, and most of the time I don't use it anymore. The Trader Boon is OP as far as I am concerned.
For actually playing the leaders, my favorites are the Trader and the Sheriff. Trader allows Trade Depot, and getting your farm to level 3. Their end mission is fun too. The Sheriff has many early jobs keeping the peace and settling disputes, and their end mission is pretty fun. Sheriff gets you the maximum upgrade for the lounge as well, if you have room for it.
The Builder missions in game are horrible. I've played as builder three times, for the 3 different difficulties so I could get the boon. For me, it's not fun, like getting teeth pulled at the dentist.
I usually spend 2 or more in-game weeks on one map..
Builed boon doesnt transfer to NM difficulty if group was made on dread ..switching to NM you again need to get power and watrer on your own. At least in my gameplay builders boon dont work.. I didnt bother to find out if its a bug or not, as its not that hard to capture required outposts.
basically. it will kill anything arouynd you for like at least 2 minutes. juggs blood ferals, everything dies. its stupid
Sheriff's lounge 3 is good with rookie survivors to boost skills. The builders sniper tower is good at sites where the small slots aren't in a good position such as barricaded strip mall or lumber mill. Trader farm is good for large populations.
Often I'll do multiple. Promote a trader, build farm(s) then demote. Promote sherrif, build lounge etc. depending on home site.
Lumber mill, baseball diamond or farmhouse are great as they have many large slots to put the various leader facilities. Getting the survivors back to hero is a fun goal for me.
