It's not the point. The point is to as others have said, push the dodge key to let go of the door. Outside of evidently not knowing that was a function - your narrative is just plain stupid.

There is no reason for hostility. You evidently have some issues issues if something as small as this causes you to say a narrative is stupid.
Now, go back and read the OP again. Reading comprehension is important. The OP did not ask for assistance or guidance. They were ranting. A comment delivered to a rant is perfectly normal. If they had asked for assistance, my response would have been different.
If you're having to escape then just run into the door and it'll slam open locked or not. makes roughly the same amount of noise and you're being chased anyway.
That, of course, makes the button mash method (evidently the intended one) obsolete.
