Using the community editor I had 20+ people with zero issues.
2) Random Hero Bonuses. Character's traits determine possible hero bonuses, and a bonus is chosen randomly from that pool. So if you want a specific bonus, you have to first find someone with a trait that can possibly give that bonus, rank them up to hero, only to be screwed by RNG. Fixable with community editor but still frustrating, should work just like skills where you get to choose.
3) Follower AI. It's been noticeably improved since I started playing, but there has been times where I will climb on top of something to escape a horde of zombies, and my follower will follow me up, then jump back down. Then climb up. Then jump down. Over and over until they die.
BTW followers SHOULD run away from a fight if you run away first. Wouldn't surprise me if that's not how it went for you though.
The opening stages of the map are the most fun for me when you are weak and need to use stealth and tactics more.
Im so tired of the screen space reflections games have been doing. they have never looked good in 3rd person games. Senuas sacrifice new RT patch was a great example
Game only renders 8 people at a time in a community - the rest are invisible diamonds
I also had a mod that makes everyone stay rendered while at base, so all 20+ were there. But my point was more of it didn't break anything by having more people, like the character selection screen for example. Not really about extra load on the game since if you have 12, 20, or 50 people, only 8 would be rendered in vanilla anyways. Though if they increased the max community size, hopefully they'd increase how many people are rendered at once too.
Immersive Ammo Stacking (PallidaCulus)
No Intro (dadec666)
Faster Searching (PallidaCulus)- The lowest/least op setting
Faster Bolt Action (KJ8888)
Makes no sense (especially if no one is infected) why survivors would be unhappy about "not enough beds", when 1-3 of them are sitting there with no one in them.
And those making the assumptions it'll get fixed
When ..spoiler alert.. after how many years it remains the same.. oh what a surprise right?
try moving on to something else besides nerco'ing the same post over and over
But if we are talking just vanilla with 20+ people currently, there would still only be 8 people rendered during a siege, so no wouldn't make it easier. Unless they increased the number of people rendered, in which case they could also increase the size of siege attacks. Which I would be all for because I was incredibly disappointed by vanilla sieges. The mission with ScentBlock had more zombies I think.
Also keep in mind that 20+ people means you are consuming that much more resources. Parts for weapons, food, medicine, and ammo. I had to worry about supplies much more than when I played vanilla.
And what do you mean by contributing individual amounts of resources per day? Do you mean the random junk they put in the locker when they say something like "hey I found this lying around"? Because I never really got anything good from that, and it only happened like once a day at most.
As for bringing resources to other maps, I stopped playing before I switched maps, but can't you already do that pretty easily? You can load up multiple vehicles (especially cargo vans) with resources, and I'm pretty sure your entire supply locker transfers?
Maybe you think it'd be super easy because of your difficulty settings? I could see it being a lot easier on lower difficulties, but that's why they are lower difficulties. All of mine were on Lethal except combat which was Nightmare because I didn't like the Lethal spawning configurations.
I was just thinking it would be made easier if 20 people were defending during regular sized sieges (but youve said they dont render so cant help) and 20 people were on the rotation for going out and looting the map (I think i wasnt clear about what I meant about that). I just meant, more people in rotation means a lot more bodies to spend bringing in loot, and I wasn't sure if loot income/resources was a net gain having that many people working on it. But it sounds like the game has been adjusted to accommodate the extra survivors, which sounds cool.
I want to try me some of those 100+ zombie sieges though. What's the mod for that?
