With the CE you can make your people unkillable, immune to plague, export/import survivors from Enclaves into your group and more.
Dev Menu lets you give your community resources, apply a 1 Hit Kill to all, add/remove trauma, HP, plague, etc to your current character. Not everything on it works afaIk. It takes the place of Bandages so those are "gone" from the game.
Other mods I use: 8AutoOutpostbuff, 999 ammo-consumable-misc stacks [3 separate mods], Faster Searching, HordesRHordier, Trunk Deposit anywhere, and LightBrite Flashlight/headlights.
Note* The OHK-One Hit Kill can affect your attempt at Barbershop Quartet, and it won't count the Juggs you kill in Daybreak.
also, i do currently use mods from nexusmods.
im just saying officially offering mod support in steam will make it much easier to mod the game, as usually devs will put out some mod tools for modders to use, or at the very least instructions how to edit certain files.
would also be much easier to keep track of which mods go out of date, and which mods have an update.
