Just bought game but Infinite loading screen

After i finished the tutorial (when you hop into the car and then drive away and enter a loading screen) the game loads for one second then the loading screen freezes, and it just wont load, its been frozen for an hour and im afraid to let it go longer incase i have to refund it. The game ran perfectly fine on High settings, but for the second time i lowered it all to low, still same result, please help.

If it takes more than 5 minutes there is some problem. Try standard troubleshooting in this order.

1. Try verifiying your game files in properties.

2. Check your windows Logs (System and Application) for any obvious issues.

Hey, my friend helped me through this, apparently its an uncommon problem with the game? I was told to start the DLC and say that i dont need first time tutorial (without starting the dlc the campaign tutorial is obligated)
I was then able to go back to the main menu and skip the tutorial and play campaign.
I can more or less guess how to play the game, but i do wonder what could have been the cause of that, since when i verified it said all files were normal, i did have the same log problems as the people were i read the fix with my friend. Thank you for helping, i hope this comment helps someone with the problem if they get it.

TLDR: Skip tutorial in the DLC in order to enable skipping tutorial in Campaign when your a first time player.
