Some early map physics and clipping issues that were fixed have also been reintroduced. I had a character fall through the map behind a petrol station in Cascade Hills last week.
But the fix broke the game in pretty much every other aspect.
So now they have reverted to the version before the fix in February. Maybe even one way before that. 3-year-old bugs and glitches have re-emerged. Also, features previously implemented or changed have also been reset.
The one that most prominently come to mind is that there are hardly any missions popping up. This was a "fix" that went too far a year ago or so.
Edit: the issue isn't so much the regular spawning rate or stuff like that, but that Screamers spawn in hordes and Freaks as you drive by - in Nightmare and Lethal. When the screamers do that, the spawns are materializing in a certain radius around the screamer, so when you drive away from it the chance is rather high that you happen to be in that spot.
Another issue that has re-emerged is that sleeping Bloaters randomly explode if you remain within its rendering distance for long enough. If it does, the gas teleports into your car for some reason.
When it does happen, I pop pain killers to keep the character alive, and power through the bloater gas in the car and just keep driving. Getting out of the car is suicide.
Ahem. Plague Bloaters?
I have noticed that too. This even happen with other items in scenario sometimes
Problem with that is you are wasting resources in something that shouldn't happen
Yep
A bug which often happens, despite it rarely happening in 1, was when you just try to go for an execution and there is something conflicting with your character doing it. It can cause all the zombies nearby to simply vanish. In 1 it did happen but it was only the zombie in process of being executed which vanhished(often by being sent into the floor or the walls).
True, I agree. But in my games I tend to get a pharmacologist and make massive amounts of pain killers anyway; I always need them and surplus can always be sold for extra influence. Does not take as long as waiting for liquor to brew either (as an item to be sold for influence).
