[SPOILERS!!] End of Heartland, Rewards???

After I destroyed the fourth plague wall and seeing the infected CLEO terminal, the game just ends and shows a message saying "people will remember you saved the world that day" and upon returning, the progress resets before I destroy the fourth wall and nothing like legacy or bonus is unlocked. Does that mean I have nothing to carry over from Heartland to my normal Campaign and I wasted all my hours building up the Heartland save??

I'm wondering the same thing i just finished the heartland too, same message, I mean wth we cant even continue playing after the fourth wall? that must be the biggest let down in the game

you dont get anything i beleve as the people you get are design for that mode but if you to that map you fine peaces of info abut what happen afterwords and fine some of the people from heartland

It is a story about what happen and no you can not carry over the the main game.
2 different stories that end once you take down the last wall.

Yeah it didn't even unlock the achievement for me when I completed it, felt like a letdown.

But also yeah pretty big letdown there wasn't even an achievement for finishing it and there's no new game+.

When I played and where about to finish, I had my friend come over and play with me so I could ship over items to him from this world and later shipped them over to my main community in the regular game mode. There is a lot of cool weapons in Heartland that I really wanted ... So thats a thing ! :)
