No support for 3440x1440 21:9 widescreen monitors or 4k
I can't believe this. It's 2020. I haven't bought a new game in two years that hasn't had support. I even bought a game from 2013 that has support for it.

At bare minimum there should be a disclaimer on the steam page or warning to gamers so they know ahead of time before buying.

Yeah, how can they ignore that 0.81% of the gaming population who use that! Oh, maybe because nobody uses it for gaming and the devs know that.

That's not true. A lot of people use 21:9. Widescreen monitors are quite popular in the PC gaming community. It's not just 21:9. This game can't run in 4k either.

Also... I haven't bought a new game in two years that didn't have support for 21:9 until now. I buy at least 20 games per year.

Lvl 0 account & private. I smell TROLLING, without us able to use facts, logic, common sense. Like looking at your actual games you buy...

We will just push this aside as internet crybaby troll stuff.

Not true... gaming on 21:9 is awesome and more and more people are buying 21:9 monitors.

Yous should want support for custom resolutions anyways its a no brainer.

Also it works just fine if you set it to desktop resolution in settings

Which setting? I tried windowed and fullscreen and it didn't work.

I'm curious what you mean by this? I have the original game from MS store and it runs well in 3440x1440 resolution. Loading screens are boxed but the rest of the game works nice full screen.

I assume the Juggernaut edition won't have any issues with this either.

Doesn't work on ultrawide for me
softlikeshadows Mar 14, 2020 @ 2:21am
So with the FOV adjustment I have this working. That really shouldn't be a thing in 2020, so I will +1 the sentiment here. I'm a little bit pissed I have to resort to ini editing to simply play a game, especially once that has received numerous patches and now what amounts to a special edition, only to STILL have to do it.
DesperadosGaming Mar 14, 2020 @ 2:33am
indeed my screen is 21:9 to
Zed Mar 14, 2020 @ 3:01am
I'm not saying the game doesn't work. I can play with a stretched screen. I'm saying the game clearly does not offer 3440x1440. It's not an option in the video settings. I shouldn't have to edit ini files to get my game to work properly in full screen.

I have spent time reading about this on reddit. It's been an issue for a long time.

My major gripe is the steam page does not warn against this or specify anywhere that this game does not offer 4k or 3440x1440 (21:9) resolution. It's not an issue on consoles... this is something that PC gamers in particular may have problems with and I feel there should be a disclaimer.

have you tried to change the game full screen option then swapping the resolution to your desktops size?

We used to complain about the same issue with 16:9 from 4:3. Ultrawide is available from every pc store,. Its not niche anymore.

0.21% of people use that resolution, and that includes mobile resolutions. So the percentage of people with desktops using that, or for the matter of fact with desktops AND PLAYING games with that resolution is much smaller.
https://www.screenresolution.org/ , but you can search that on multiple other resolution statistics websites.
