better then "free" game pass version?

Hey, so I played the free game pass version of the normal SoD2 and wonder if I should buy this as I somewhat liked the game and my game pass is running out.
Problems I had with the old version was keep getting disconnect from host and having invisible zombies attacking once I moved a tad to far away from host. Second thing I hated was the way to low survivor size you could have in your group, I think it maxed out at ~10 survivors even tho I could build like 15 beds in the baseball stadium+ the ones I could have from outposts so it should not max out at that.
Is the connection better over steam servers?
did they make the max survivor size bigger?

the game pass version has been upgraded to jug, it requires you to uninstall the old version and install fresh, you should get a download size of 17.8gb if it lower then that, it the old game version, if that happens, download the xbox beta and install the game from the game store in that

like I said my game pass is somewhat running out... so I either buy this here or don´t have enough days left to download it again on microsoft store as I currently not have it installed

steam just handles the files, the mp side is still microsoft, you still need to link your microsoft account for online play, survivors are max 10 unless you recruit an entire enclave which gives 3 in one go, then you'll have 12, sadly i've not tried mp yet so i can't say if the error code 3 and 4 still exists, but yeah the game cheaper here and you have that refund policy on steam if you don't like

yea I know you can do some stuff and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to even get up to 13 survivors but it supoposedly make them ocasionally invisible or stuck in your camp, anyways if they did not increase the max survivor count I´m not that interested especially if MP problems still persist

refund still makes me loose out on money in the end since paying online makes me pay extra fees for my bank
