What is your favorite vehicle in SoD3 and why?

Mine so far is the Pyrohawk hands down! Its tough, zed deterrent, fast and handles very well especially in tight spaces and it looks really cool. The only fault I find is the limited trunk space. The perfect L.R.R.P. vehicle. My crew always wear the green camo army hat and tactical uniform looks so bad-a** and para-military.

I really like the Smashwagon. Decent speed, trunk space, 4 doors, seems to take more hits. SADLY, this game is a joke for balancing.

So, that Witchita or whatever. Fast, 4doors, more space in the trunk then it should (equal to smashwagon i think, 7?).

I do like a Van or Vandito at the start, but it just becomes storage eventually. I hate/love Road racer, but it is gabage off road and off roads is where all the massive time saving short-cuts are (it trips and flips on everything, also not much faster then other cars).

I don't really use calls, they're very much like enabled cheats.

I honestly did not know what the independence pack was till I played with it. And you are right the fireworks launchers are OP, and then I figured it was the DLC/Juggernaut edition additions. I don't use the weapons but the pyrohawk is ok for me due to my wrist problems driving the other vehicles is very difficult for me.

As mentioned, the Smashwagon and Wichita ES are both very good choices. The former has a little better offroad capability.

The Burninator from Independence Pack is also a very good car. Fast, solid, nice flamethrower that removes zombies from doors, and the best offroad car in the game.

Mega Max is also a very good allround car. Less cargo space than the others mentioned here, but much better fuel capacity. Fast, maneuvreable and a good offroader.

The Impaler isn't as good as the others mentioned here, but it has got spikes on the back that impales Ferals. It's gas guzzling, slow and just 4 cargo slots - but if you want to kill zombies, for instance going on an Infestation clearing run, it's the best car in the game for doing that.

Guessing you meant SoD2, not 3, if thats the case then the Wichita ES is by far (for me at least) the best car in the game, its fast, 7 slots trunk, ok armor and above all, its four wheel drive. Mega Max is a lot of fun because, who does not like a rear wheel drive once in a while.

Sadly, they are somewhat rare (for me at least) and you won't always find one every map you start.

When I can't find them in a map, I usually go for the Jeep (forgot the name) it becomes the Trail beast, fast, 6 slots trunk and a really nice suspension that allow you to go over most obstacles on and off road.

I used the Community Editor to give myself an Impaler, I love how it sounds. The small cars suck ass big-time, turning too hard will spin me right 'round, baby. Right 'round like a record, baby. Right 'round, 'round, 'round. I also like the Police Car but cannot seem to find it w/o it being mission triggered. The Vagabond and ES are my go-to Off-Roaders. I rarely use the paved road between the Brewing Company and Rural Police Station. Looking to add a little Forza Horizon to this unending apocalypse.

There are 2 Vagas in the Meagher Valley map I am on now. Building auto-shop for light upgrades and I am gonna turn them both into Trail Beasts and go mainly off road on this mostly open farmland, and piggyback between the two for now! Excellent post Iggy THANK YOU ! Oh then dismantle my auto-shop and rebuild staging area!

Zesbuster is an upgraded norma pickup truck, common vehicule and mechanics missions will spawn one.

Imapaler is an upgraded legendre.

Wichita ES is an upgraded Miragra.

The vandito is also a nice vehicule, tough but slow, it has the biggest trunk, 9 slots. Any van will turn into a vandito.

Only two seats for the jeep indeed but once upgraded, it has an enormous gas capacity, if empty, two gas cans won't refill it completely. Don't use it if you have a follower or you may get f*cked if you get a mission with an enclave's follower.

This just made me think of Motorcycles. I'd love to rip around on a Sanchez-type dirt bike. We'd get tossed pretty easily but that happens in any game with bikes, unless you're programmed not to.

I'd even take bicycles and roller blades for stealthy missions haha! I remember using a bicycle and quad in miscreated, it was awesome.

And as for SoD3, since it seems to be in the snow, a snowmobile, skis and snowshoes should be in imo.

Another Vagabond on the Meagher Valley map! It seems the Trail Beast does not handle as well as the plain ole Vagabond, so since I have access to so many this map I won't upgrade the others. Haven't seen a Norma, or had mechanics missions as yet either. Great posts and Thank You all. Okay apparently vehicles respawn if you move them, cuz there is another Vagabond in place of one I appropriated. This I did not know.
