i really loved that M4X2 because of the ammo capacity and 5.56 is cheaper than 7.62. but the sound seems loud when it pops in lethal i feel like im too loud.
what is ACOG and where can i get that ?
strategic weapons, for hearts and jugernauts = BML grenade launcher and BFG50 automatic sniper rifle
see you in the frontier
RTX Stormbringer with Adv Sup or Timberwolfs, as melee mostly Reba Blades
5 bullets are enough to take out a jugernaut!
.22 - Primary: Prepper's 10/22
50 round mag, scope for zoom and with advanced silencer, the best zed head popper, especially with Gunsling (aim snap to head). Great against everyting, except armored zeds, Juggs and Blood Juggs. Only downside is somewhat long reload (even with Gunsling).
.22 - Sidearm: Competition Mk3
10 round clip, scope, silencer. Also, high RoF.
Sighted Mk3 or Micro Dot PPK are also good ones.
9mm - Primary: MP5A2 Spec Ops
30 round mag, scope, silencer, fast reload.
9mm - Sidearm: MP5K Spec Ops
15 round mag, scope, silencer, fast reload.
2nd choise: SP5K Custom or Sighted P-07.
.45 - Primary: Spec Ops Vector SMG
50 round mag, scope, silencer, fast reload.
.45 - Sidearm: RTX Piranha
25 round mag, silencer, fast reload. But no scope.
For scope: P220-45 Elite but that has 10 round mag.
.357 - Primary: Scoped Big Hank Rifle
10 round clip, scope, silencer and lever-action (never brakes).
.357 - Sidearm: P226 Elite
15 round mag, scope, silencer.
.44 - Primary: Scoped Model 92 Rifle
12 round clip, scope, silencer and lever-action.
.44 - Sidearm: King Vulture .44
10 round mag, scope. But no barrel mods.
12G - Primary: DEVGRU X12 Inflitator
30 round mag, scope, 3 fire modes, choke. In Full Auto, my best Plague Heart killer. Also good against Juggs and Blood Juggs.
12G - Sidearm: Reliable 870 Sawed-Off
A bit better than normal 870 Sawed-Off for a sidearm.
5.56mm - AKS-74U Valentine
Looks cute, 45 round mag, has scope and can have silencer.
For bigger mag - Masterwork Assault Rifle. 100 round mag, scope, 3 fire modes. But no barrel mods.
7.62mm - RTX Stormbringer
60 round mag, scope, silencer, 3 fire modes.
For OP gun - Eternal Guard's Infinite Rage. 150 round mag, scope, 3 fire modes, any barrel mod except choke.
.50 - B50FG
5 round clip, single (semi-auto) or full-auto. Full clip is enough to drop Blood Jugg on the knees in Dread difficulty.
CLEO - CLEO Battle Rifle
15 round mag, scope. My go-to weapon in Daybreak. Since almost all CLEO weapons are essentially shotguns, it takes 1 shot from Battle Rifle to kill a zed, even when shot at the body. Except armored zeds and Juggs.
CLEO Heavy Sniper - Scope, extremely tight aim (same as with CLEO Accelerator barrel mod) and 2 shots to kill any Jugg.
Prepper's 10/22 is awesome ! especially for beginners. i really like how cheap it is and its given free from a quest.
i also got a P-07 Pro something ... what do you think of it ? i really like how its single shot but the rate is too high that sometimes it feels like an auto. with 25 ammo per clip i have no complains. not sure about the damage tho i think its good for popping heads only.
that stunt will work on easy and normal, above that i call a lost survivior and a lost costly cannon a bad deal to let a jug kneel to you. timberwolf is 1000000000000 times better becasue much less noise (and only one bullet less in the clip)
Good choices, but some are missing.
My go-to 7.62 rifle is the Prepper's AK47. 75-round drum magazine and a scope. It only weighs around 10-11 pounds. That makes it easier to stay light encumbered (with Discipline). The Eternal Guard's Infinite Rage has twice the ammo capacity but weighs twice as much as well, so to stay light encumbered with a good melee weapon and a Hiking backpack, you'll need a Backpacking/Discipline combo maxed out - and perhaps some carrying capacity bonuses in the community.
For .44 sidearm I would go with a RTX Rampart instead. It's a King Vulture with full-auto firing mode.
The same with the shotgun sidearm. The RTX Cyclone is a sawn-off R12 with full-auto firing mode.
An alternative for the 5.56 slot is the M4X1 DMR Heavy. 50-round drum magazine, single/burst firing modes and a scope, and can carry a suppressor. It's much rarer than the Valentine, though. And much heavier...
While it does have 25 round mag, it doesn't have scope. For my gameplay style, scope is a must, since i'd rather aim carefully and pop the head, than waste 10-15 bullets shooting at the body. :)
Though, for 9mm sidearm, that you may be interested in: G18 Auto Custom. It has 50 round mag and can take barrel mods. But it doesn't have scope and operates only in full-auto.
To each their own. :)
It's true that Eternal Guard's Infinite Rage weighs quite a lot and if you want to stay at light encumbrance, you need all what you described. Or when you have Red Talon Daybreak Operator as your survivor. Which i have.
Full-auto weapons are fun. But almost useless on Dread or higher difficulty with scarse resources. Only time when i use full-auto, is either when i'm attacking the Plague Heart, hostile survivor or Blood Jugg.
On lethal mode resources can be sparse and repairing weapons is more expensive (parts) than on easier modes, so my ideal sidearm is the MP5K Spec Ops (only 15 rounds in the mag but does not suffer from the durability hit, is select fire and has a scope and can use any attachment except a choke.
Another good sidearm is the suppressed revolver that's in one of the bounty broker packs. I believe it's a 22 also but since it is a revolver it does not get damaged, and it comes with an integrated suppressor when all other revolvers can only accept brakes, which is a huge benefit in lethal.
this means that the BEST weapons to bring in Lethal are the ones that don't get damaged.
leaving us with only the AMMO to worry about.
very good point Sir Daxos.
