How do you beat other survivors in combat..
I am on Nightmare difficulty, I was doing quite well so far.. Then I started a quest and a trio of survivors attacked me over some supplies, not important. What is important they all have rifles or sniper rifles whatever of that sort, they managed to snipe my character through my van and over at least 100-150 meters. They were so far I could barely see them and every time I got up from the ground a second after I fell down again after another head shot. Wtf I am supposed to do? They are bloody perfect..

Hide behind your van and headshot 'em one at a time.

Approach their building from a side with no windows. Get close to a door, drop a beatbox/firework or throw zombait at it. Retreat to a safe distance and watch. Supplement zombie flow with firecrackers as needed.

Zombait can be put to better effect near/through windows, but requires getting close to potential lines of fire.

do zeds better vs aggro enclaves at higher difficultys? because on normal an aggro enclave massacred 2 hordes i baited into there house with zombait.
what i definatly learned is that melee is useless, they are all dodge masters and even when you manage to land 6 hits that woud have killed 3 zeds in one row, a aggro enclave survivor still stands, and you end normaly as swiss cheese in that time.
what worked best for me are long range firearms (anti material sounds like overkill, but it works) and like already mentationed above, nearing the aggro turf from angles they cant get a los to you.

Hostile survivor get tons of health and aren't any better VS zombies on Lethal compared to say dreadful.
Actually it's the oposite, since they are usually end up turning (blood plague) against feral and sneaky bloater/ horde of Z.
Sending 10-15 Z against 3 survivor won't cut it though.

The only solution I found to be "safe" killing them on Lethal is to pick a car with good mobility, some repait kit, scent block, a way to kill blood feral (either skill drop kick + stam item or flashbang), a crossbow and whatever item that can draw Z to the correct spot (zombait is top tier at that).
Don't go at night, since it's only an issue for you.

Run around in your car and draw in a 200-250m circle around your target, every Z you can.
Once you are done cross behind the building they are in. Get out in a spot they can't shoot at you immediately, use scent block, throw zombait ( more than 1 if you didn't find any blood feral beforehand), then go back to your car and go a little further away (50m is ideal if you can so they try to target you, but go further away to deal with any blood feral that aggro you instead of them).
It's ideal if you can hide behind something like road fence. they will thing they can shoot at you but since they only auto aim the head, by crouching they will fail and get killed by Z at some point (can take up to 10-15min).

Then you will only need to kill the horde left. 2 jugg, 3 feral, 3 screamer are 30z are probably a walk in the park compared to killing one survivor anyway.

The most important thing to remember, no matter how you go about it, is that hostile survivors can get back up from near death just like the player can so you gotta get the damage in while they're down.

Bloater Gas Grenades are amazing but pretty hard to come by. Once they go down in the cloud they aren't getting back up. Just be careful not to gas yourself.

There's also Flashbangs and a high caliber weapon. Toss a Flashbang to put them on the ground then a couple headshots will finish them. 7.62 is my go even though .50 would probably instakill them. IMO the .50 rounds are just too expensive to waste on anything other than Juggs.

If I don't have any gas grenades, I'll just do the car strat. Drive around honking the horn until I amass an army and let them deal with the hostile enclave. It can be slow, and if they won't come out of the house (to play with a Juggernaut) you can always jump out of your vehicle for a second (preferably behind cover) then jump back in and they'll run outside to try and line up a shot on you. Even if they can't physically see you they somehow "know" when you get out of your vehicle, so it's a nice trick to use. With the increased zombie damage and infection rate on Lethal, zombies are a pretty good method. Even on Nightmare they're still decent.

On higher difficulties, zombies have a small-scale screamer shout that pulls in more zombies. This often leads to snowballing if you're fighting them with unsilenced guns - or even just meleeing them down in a bit enough crowd. Things can rapidly spiral out of control in nightmare/lethal difficulty and force you to run or pop contingencies like explosives to survive.

This works very much in your favour when dealing with hostile enclaves. Get enough zombies together (as outlined above by other posters) and they'll just... keep coming. You can throw noisemakers in to keep the zombie inflow up if the enclave and its zombies aren't making enough noise on their own. It's slow, and can be resource-intensive, but it's very satisfying to watch.

It's important that when you do the car circling thing, that you don't end up so far away afterwards that the zombies are idling. you need to stay so close that you can see at least one red triangle and that you can hear and see the zombies attacking them.

When you do, the hostiles will aim their guns and focus entirely on you (in your car), and the zombies will therefore "last longer" since the hostiles won't kill them as often. If you get a screamer to follow you and then go aggro on the hostiles instead of you, you have a self-sustained ecosystem of zombie assault on the hostiles since the AI ignores the Screamers for some reason...

Edit: you don't have to use any other resource than gasoline if you are a bit patient. Try a few times and you'll get it right.

Zombait, Bloater Gas Grenades or Guns will kill enemy enclaves. Scent Blocker will help not get noticed by zombies.

You could also use your car to bait zombies into enemy enclaves just make sure you don't get out of your car and also make sure that you are moving to avoid the zombies. Also make sure to have extra gas and repair kits just in case.

Energy Drinks and healthy use of the Aim Snap skill.

stealth and bombs works
Gas grenades are the pinnacle of enclave destroying technology.

Beyond that my preferred tactic is just to park my vehicle in a way that provides good cover, fire at them with a suppressed weapon, and then let their unsuppressed weapons pull hordes onto them. Even if the zombies don't do a particularly large amount of damage to them, it makes them extremely immobile and thus easy targets.

hostiles survivor can dodge most all close combat, go hide far from their shots, or on a top spot, then headshot them with a sniper rifles.

melee hostile are dumb like zombie, just climb over your car and they will stay in front of it, then you have time to headshot them ....

dont try melee with them, you'll die ....

zombie bait bomb is just ♥♥♥♥ above nightmare difficult, i have tried many times, the hostiles survivors just killed them like cockroach
