Issues with A.I. in Container Fort
My survivors just stand around doing nothing, even when zombies are invading and actively attacking them, has anyone had similar issues or knows how to address it?

You address it by not using the fort. I find the layout super annoying as well.

Not had that issue. Container fort is pretty defensible though, especially if you perch a watchtower on all four corners. One corner is taken but if you put a watchtower on the closest spot to that corner in the bottom left, it ends up being REALLY high and can snipe most zombies before they get close. Another thing you can do is block the entrances with vehicles. There are two doors and a spot in the fence you can climb through. I park vans or trucks at all 3 before sieges. As long as nobody tries to open a door you can take your time.

Issuing MGs to everyone basically solve any base defense issues,
Yea I've got them all pretty well equipped, it's just their behaviour in this particular location that I'm struggling with.

container fort essentially has castle doctrine perk which is they stand guide while shooting those vermins , without costing ammo

maybe u didnt see them in action much since most zombies dead outside of your base

Oh they're shooting plenty at zombies outside the base, but lets say if they're not one of the ones standing guard on the ramparts, they'll just stand around. If zombies get in, the survivor on the ground won't react, even as they start getting hit they won't pull out their gun or even melee. I understand how Container Fort is meant to work, I chose it specifically for Castle Doctrine and the passive 8 beds in the workshop slot as well as its relatively limited three entrance points, two off which I've blocked off with destroyed cars so in the event of a siege I can just fire through the remaining entrance. It's specifically an A.I. issue on the survivors that I've just not seen in any other base I've used. It's not precisely a problem, I have the arsenal now to hold back pretty much anything trying to come through the door, but it's certainly an oddity and would be a problem if I were less geared.

Ive had that issue across the board. Ai just seem to break sometimes. Maybe you are recruiting someone or scavenging with them.
