I was going to ask about soundproofing among other things but I don't want to come off as obnoxious, that sounds*heh* like it would have a lot more perhaps hidden*heh* benefits.

What do you mean? Soundproofing simply reduces threat level with 3 or 4. That's all.

Its the bonus you incur from not having to defend base nearly as half as much or lower, its such a boom in terms of doing more runs freely but you need less focus on arming Npc's.

That's what I said in my first post.

When i start new comunity I usually go for :

1x Lichenology * +2 meds , Gardening & Herbalism
1x Scrum certificate ** +2 Labor
1x Medicine *** Plague sample hunter when he will get the Pathology.
  • * +2 meds can sustain your medical post p[assive neads for "free" without nead to look for medical otpost in early game & that also makes you spend infuence on other things in it's place.

  • ** Labor is better than fishing as there is a lot of things that can make you get food bags[radio call, buildings with mods can produce a lot, income from traits& you can also make your comunity eat less with kitchen or with traits or hero bonuses. Labor is a lot harder to get : the number of people in your comunity , some aliance buffs from enclaves & traits

  • *** I roll him to have trait with additional blood plague resistance that stacks later with patology bp resistance & make him build for crosbow & stealth for plague samples farming. If you can try to rtoll him also some hp boosting trait.IMO HP is a lot more important than stamina as even without stamina you can still move but withouth health it's diffrent story... you know what I mean ;)

On any difficulty higer than dreed i would recomend trying to have more people with blood plague resistance traits like germophile, hand sanitizer ,blood plague survivor , etc.
Also the ones that lead to hero bonuses like: less comunity foood usage, labor , Additional experience bonus[like 50% better exp from blooger trait for all in comunity]
, free food/materials etc. On Nigtmar & lethal it will be kinda usefull if only they will survicve,

If your new to the game I recomend you playing dreed not the standard zone it is IMO true "normal mode" for this game & playing on it will be easier to change later to nightmar & lethal.

Thats my thoughts. GL on surviving!

hmmm not worth. Better kill those attackers to get "free" influence for clearing the attack[if you want & are prepared] or spend this fev ammo from your storage & just ignore it :P you dont nead to do sieges if you dont want or cant risk doing it.
  • If your playing beginer to dreed zone you will get weapons & materials to build defences & equip all comunity members.
  • If you play nightmare or lethal then you probably see sieges as : a) free influence b) nuisance to even think to go back to waste time. "We" got more important things to do... just spend this ammo from storage to let it happen "automaticaly" & farm those bacpacks or do the missions that you nead to do before you will get fatigue or something worser on your current character.

But you could sell those extra's weapons, channel those resources elsewhere.
