Went over my screens of Daybreak and yes, there are less zeds overall in solo, than in 4 player MP game.
In my solo game, the single win, i somehow managed to get, zeds killed were:
* normal: 561
* bloaters: 101
* ferals: 16
* juggs: 2
* blood juggs: 11
* total: 691
In MP game, the highest killed zed count were:
* normal: 820
* bloaters: 159
* ferals: 28
* juggs: 2
* blood juggs: 23
* total: 1032
I have few other MP win screens, with total of 952 and 970 zeds killed.
With this, the diff in zeds amount in solo vs MP is ~300.
I have the very same tactic in MP Daybreak. At the right side, I stand in the middle of the field, on a small terrain bump, to be just little higher for slightly better view. Sometimes, when things are quiet (left and right side waves doesn't spawn at the same time), i look over to the left and pop bloaters when i see them. :D
Yeah, so those stats mean Daybreak is much more manageable with 4 competent players.
I usually use the bolt action CLEO rifle (the normal one) when out in the field, which is good for picking off anything that gets by me. Since the CLEO guns have a spread effect, I usually try to line up to make multiple headshots at once.
Solo would be a much better experience if the player could give CLEO guns to the NPCs
thats the funny thing.....
my lobby full of braindead morons , even a.i are far more smarter than them
CLEO Blast Rifle? Yes, this is my go-to weapon in Daybreak also. While it is slow between shots, due to the bolt action, it has good spread and it also has scope for zoom, to take out zeds far away. Also, it's 16 round mag is just right for it.
And it would be SOO good, if we could access NPCs inventory and replace their weapons. ^_^
Also, at which point they should repair? When the icon is yellow? orange? red? or when wall is destroyed?
Btw, NPCs doesn't stay inside the walls all the time. Sometimes, they do climb over the wall.
The solo guide video i posted above, at 21:33, you can see NPC climbed over the wall and shooting.
They should repair the walls in between sieges. As for going over the wall, I've never seen them do it outside of one time when they got push out of the wall through glitch (probably when repairing a wall), so they just climbed back inside. They are pretty much useless against armoured zeds, IMO.
If NPCs can repair walls, the difficulty level of Daybreak drops considerably, since you don't have to worry anymore of zeds getting in, to kill your tech (except ferals).
All bullets are esentially useless against armored zeds. Even your own. So, rather than wasting loads of your ammo, to shoot through their armor - knife them from behind. Much faster and doesn't consume ammo.
You play MP Daybreak? If so, then yes, desync is issue in there, especially when host has slow net connection speed.
I haven't seen any desync issues in my solo Daybreak.
