hackers in daybreak

having managed to chip away at daybreak over the years it came around to that time when i was able to tolerate another game of this mistake, but couldnt get a game because there was just one MP game open and it was a hacker.

few zombies spawned and the technician was clearly invulnerable and the time was ticking down 2-3X normal speed

I've seen few cheaters in Daybreak as well. Though, what those folks doesn't understand, is that it doesn't matter if the time goes faster and zeds can't kill the tech. Since Prestige is awarded by the zeds killed, not when you actually survive the challenge.

I once happened into such lobby. Host was cheating and sped up the timer 10x or more. Once the timer ran out and we "won", i got 0 Prestige out of it, since none of the zeds were actually killed by anyone.

did unlocks work though?

ive recruited a couple of contractors and still have 10k prestige left over i cant spend as i havent unlocked the facilities id use.

I unlocked all Daybreak items long before i met that hacker. Also, i didn't get the 100, 150 and 200 Prestige in place of unlocks that i usually get when winning. Prestige count for me was 0.

Can't kick anyone out if i'm client (which i was). All i could do, was leave game.

you can actually , when you're pause the game , you'll see their name list alongside yourself right , click their name then you can kick them or mute them

It's possible they're going for unlocks and not prestige when using cheats to speed up the matches. Though it is weird that they wouldn't use an instant unlock instead

its also possible they are getting prestige , just because a client isnt doesnt mean they are not. it does seem unlikely they are spending this time and effort to do nothing.

btw anyone else crashing in daybreak if they press escape to the menu screen?

sod2 is not pvp so theres no competition so cheating doesnt matter really

apart from it ruining the game and making it unplayable when they are all of the lobbies you keep getting matched with , but yeah if they were doing this in thier one player mode id neither of noticed or cared

daybreak is really...... boring... but speeding up the clock isnt gonna help at all. and now with the Ammo stack adjustments, the CLEO SMG is much more viable XD but if im doing daybreak, itd be for both the prestige AND the unlocks. now i only do it for the prestige if i forget to carry over any of my unlocks

I have mostly ever only soloed it when I last played this. Hated matchmaking cause some idiot would take a CLEO SMG and use ALL ammo by round 2/3 lmao.
