save location - the same?

is the save location for the steam version of the game the same as the windows store

aka

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Dayton_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData


I know the install is different it installs into your steam directory

as opposed to the windows store version that installs into a hidden protected folder

Close but abit different C:\Users\'your pc name'\AppData\Local\StateOfDecay2\Saved\Steam\'random number'\Release\v2

is the actual save file the same - if I took the save file in the windows store version and moved it to the steam saved location would it work?

Backup your saves and try it should work but back them all - its not my fault if you mess them up lol
