Though I wouldn't complain if Undead Lab tdecides to give us microsoft store owners a free steam key. As for some reason the microsoft store keeps breaking my install every 2-3 days prompting a full reinstall of the game.
What’s the issue with playing the game I own on Microsoft through steam? Microsoft store sucks. You are against freedom of how you play your game?
Uplay, Rockstar, and other all work the same way. You get to play your game where you bought it.
Also last time I checked Steam allows to add shortcuts to non-steam games, just hit the big ADD A GAME button at the button left and start it that way. But you will still need the Microsoft Store because you bought it there and will have to use their DRM so they can make sure you did buy the game.
And last time Microsoft Store does not limit it to which pc you want to play it, just have to log in install and play it anywhere you want, even on your very own toilet through a laptop if you wish. Just like Steam does.
Oh right and I do agree that the Microsoft Store is very bad, which I noted in my first reply already. Still doesn't change the fact that it is a different store. Also if we go into places where you want to play your game, the Microsoft Store version gives you more options then the Steam version as with Microsoft Store you can also play it on an xbox consoles as well as a pc.
1: Buy it from the steam store.
2: Add it as a non-steam game and play it that way.
Microsoft Store is indeed a waste of cyberspace and thats why some people (like me) had to wait until now to play this game.
To clarify this: You can add this game to your library BUT that won't add you a steam copy of the game. The game will launch the way it did before, but you can start it from here.
