Vehicle upgrades in Heartland

Is there any way to get the vehicle upgrades in Heartland game mode? Can't find anything anywhere, and no vehicle mechanic building available.....

you get them with the two girls instead of the weapons workshop, not sure if you can get them with the other two.

Can't you build an auto shop? I can't remember much about heartland. In the normal game I usually get them from enclaves or random traders.

That sucks......Is the two girls playthrough any different? Yeah mate, no auto shop in my playthrough with the guy and girl.....

The main difference is that the Girls get the auto workshop and the Cops get the weapon forge instead. Both variants of the standard versions you get in the normal game.

You can't upgrade vehicles in Heartland with the cops sadly. Since you don't get the random traders.

There are slight story differences between the pairs. The main difference being which groups they can ally with and who they can recruit.

Wow really, I do not recall that and I played with the guy, that sucks :( I must be mistaken with repair kits I guess, its odd though, I always kill hordes and infestations with cars, you'd think I'd remember not having ungraded cars to do so haha.

This probably means that I bought them from traders and enclaves which is not not a reliable source :/
