Error Code 1006: Can't join any coop games: PC to PC
I can't join any friends as I keep getting a 1006 error code as soon as I try. Apparently its also known as error code 6 online? Anyway I've done my due diligence looking it up online but all has failed so I find myself here. My friends can join my game (although they seem to get disconnected often) but I cannot join anyone else.

So following guides I've found online, I realize its related to a NAT issue or Teredo issue. NAT was always such a pain when I played on Xbox so it sucks its now a problem on PC... I have all the Xbox suggested ports forwarded. Even tried putting my PC into the DMZ. I managed to get my NAT to show Open and Connected this way but it still failed to let me join.

So I moved on to troubleshooting Teredo doing all the command prompt commands to verify it is set up and not blocked. It was all fine as it should be.

Moving on to firewall settings and they were also correct.

Not even sure what else to try at this point as those 3 things seems to be what every "guide" tells you to do. :steamsad:

Buddy was having this problem. Tried nearly everything to fix it, but finally got it working after 1. ensuring we had both gone onto the xbox site and added each other as friends, and 2. running hamachi and forcing the game to use it to connect us. Im not sure which specifically fixed the issue, id say try 1, then 2. Wish i could narrow it more, but we just so happened to do both at the same time before trying again and succeeding.
Just make sure if using hamachi that you are both on the same network, and capable of Pinging each other. if not hamachi makes it easy to find the solution to the missing pings
Sadly still not working. This is kind of a deal breaker for me and kills the game honestly. If I knew this before I hit my 2 hours or whatever it would be getting refunded. Its a good game, but the COOP absolutely has to work. So disappointing.
I am having the same problem I actually did not even have this issue until after I got a VPN.
Always check server status before trying to fix/figure out anything else :)

Dunno, but try using a better windows firewall frontend just to make sure: either tinywall (basic features), or malwarebytes windows firewall control (advanced features). With either of those it's easier to rule out windows firewall rules issues.
Woah this post got resurrected hard. I never found a solid solution. This whole problem seems to stem from the game being a port from console and Microsofts/Xboxs weird obsessions with NAT and firewalls, which aren't generally even a concern on PC.

IMO if you haven't hit your refund window yet just refund it and wait and see if they fixed it in 3 when it comes out. /shrug

That being said, sometimes it would just work for no rhyme or reason so you can keep trying. Try to host instead if you cant connect to your friends and cross your fingers.
