Session Error // Error 1005 and 1008
A friend and I both got State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition yesterday and I wanted to join his game but when he tries to host a mulitplayer game, he is constantly prompted with Session Error.

I opened my game for mulitplayer and he claimed that he was now getting error 1005 and 1008.

Any known fixes?

nope. there were a couple of times where we were able to connect but we eventually gave up

check your computers timezone and daylight savings settings. turn off the auto timezone function to see if the clock changes or the wrong timezone is selected

I have the same problem - error 1005. my friend is on a console and I can't join his session. We had played about 13 hours together and then the problem started

Look for windows updates, and updates to app in the MS Store. specifically the xbox gamebar and such.

It also never hurts to power cycle your router and modem
