Cannot find last plague heart in Providence Ridge

Ugh. I find tracking down the plague hearts to be the most annoying part of the game. I'm on my last legacy playthrough on Providence Ridge in dread zone. I've climbed every survey site I see and driven around all over in the survey car. I don't have any blank buildings that aren't filled in. Yet I still only have six plague hearts.

I'm so frustrated. There are always seven plague hearts on dread, correct? It isn't ever just six?

it is always seven. sometimes the barns aren't on the map and you have to scout around the country side for them, also nears the southeast of the map near preston there are a few buildings off the beaten path, there is a chance one is there

Okay. Guess I'll just drive around through the fields hoping to find something. If I can't find it, I'll just move maps and hope I get a distribution that is easier to discover.

This is seriously one of the most tedious things in the game lol.

Just look on your map....there is plague heart icon on the map

They aren't shown on the map on Dread or Nightmare. Have to actually go near them before they are marked.

Geez that's plain annoying....exploring big area to find them is bs

Look for the white outlines of buildings on your map. Zoom in enough that you get the icon of what type of building it is, and look for any buildings that do not have that icon in them. Your last Plague Heart will be one of them, since they don't get the icon on them until you have either Surveyed or come near enough that you'd have it as a heart anyways.

Had to do this on Drucker when I played it because none of the Survey locations was in range of the last heart. Bit annoying, but it only takes a minute or so to scan the entire map at that level of zoom.
